Women’s Walk, Talk and Do
Police Community Officers host ‘walks and talks’ with female residents to give local women the opportunity to discuss issues around women’s safety.
Officers can offer advice and support, while hearing from you on what needs to be done to help women feel safer. Walks are also promoted on local police Twitter accounts.
Please check back for future dates.

Parents and carers will:
- Build a clearer understanding of the pressures shaping young people’s behaviour, drawing on what students shared during Voicebox workshops
- Explore how peer pressure and unspoken 'rulebooks' influence behaviour, including how fitting in, gaining status, and fear of social consequences can shape choices and identity
- Reflect on how home can be a safe base, where young people feel able to be honest, talk about pressures they are facing, and take off the 'mask' they may feel they need to wear around others
- Learn practical ways to support their child, helping them navigate peer pressure and gender expectations while maintaining clear boundaries, connection and influence
