Richmond Card - accepted proofs
You may need to provide proofs to add some services to your Richmond Card. The easiest way to do this is to upload them online.
Proof of address
If you live in the Borough you may be entitled to free or discounted parking.
If you link your Council Tax account, you may be able to use this as a proof of address. To do this you will need your Council Tax number, which can be found on the top of your Council Tax bill.
If you do not link your Council Tax account, you will need to provide one of the following proofs of address:
- Driving licence
- NHS medical card
- Council Tax bill
- Tenancy Agreement
- Rent book
- Home ownership details
- Utility bill
- Home insurance certificate
- Benefits letter (dated within last 3 months)
- TV licence
Proof of age
If you are over 60 you may be entitled to discounted leisure services. If you are over 75 you may be entitled to additional resident parking discounts.
You will need to provide one of the following proofs of age:
- Passport
- Birth certificate
- Older Persons' Freedom Pass
- Driving licence
- NHS medical card
Proof of state benefit
If you receive you may be entitled to discounted leisure services.
You will need to provide one of the following proofs of entitlement:
- Housing Benefit statement
- Income support statement
- Incapacity Benefit statement
- Letter of entitlement from DSS
Proof of study
If you are in full-time education you may be entitled to discounted leisure services.
You will need to provide the following proof of entitlement:
- Student ID
Proof of LBRuT employment
If you work for the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames, you may be entitled to discounted leisure services.
You will need to provide one of the following proofs of employment:
- Payslip
- Payroll number
