Enjoy songs and arias from international ensemble at Mayor’s Friendship Concert
14 February 2025
On Sunday 27 April, attend a charity concert at St Mary’s Church in Twickenham, in aid of the Mayor of Richmond’s chosen charities Home-Start and Richmond Borough MIND, celebrating Richmond's connections with our twinned towns of Fonatainebelau in France and Konstanz in Germany.
Hosted by the Richmond in Europe Association on behalf of the Mayor, the concert will feature an international ensemble of musicians from the Royal Academy of Music - Regina Gössel, Milette Gillow, Clara Orif and Elinor Popham, accompanied by pianist Jack Redman - who will perform songs and arias sung in French, German and English.
In addition to supporting the Mayor’s chosen charities, the concert celebrates Richmond upon Thames’ connections with our twinned towns of Fontainebleau, France, and Konstanz, Germany. In this spirit, all of the pieces performed will be themed around friendship, and specifically the sense of belonging and connection that music can provide. Refreshments will be served during the interval.
