Free support session for dementia caregivers

19 February 2025

If you care for a friend or family member with dementia, join us at the Richmond Library Annexe on 28 February for a warm, supportive session led by an experienced dementia specialist nurse.

Session lead Ami Kerti will provide practical tips for carers on how to manage winter risks like illness, falls and confusion due to cold weather. You’ll leave equipped with long-term planning strategies to help you and your loved one stay safe and well and maintain a good quality of life.

Refreshments will be served, providing an opportunity to connect with other local people facing similar challenges.

Help shape our new Carers and Young Carers Charter

From now until 31 March 2025, if you provide care for a friend or family member, we invite you to complete a short survey to tell us what would make a real difference to you in your caring role. Your experiences and perspectives will directly shape our work with local health and care services and voluntary organisations to develop a new local Carers and Young Carers Charter, to improve the lives of local carers.

If you cannot complete the survey online and need assistance, please call us on 020 4526 2675. We are happy to collect your responses over the phone.
