Celebrate Clean Air Day at pop-up event
13 June 2024
On Thursday 20 June, residents are invited to stop by our free Clean Air Day pop-up to find out more about air quality across the borough.
The free event will give you the opportunity to trial a community e-cargo bike and meet friendly environmental educators and entertainers from The Big Wheel Theatre Company.
Clean Air Day is all about encouraging clean, sustainable and active travel methods to reach your destination. Cars and vans are the biggest source of toxic chemicals (NO2) in our air, and where possible, we should look to walk, cycle, wheel or use public transport to improve air quality not just for our own health and wellbeing, but that of the planet.
Event details:
- Date: Thursday 20 June
- Time: 11am to 4pm
- Location: Lower George Street, Richmond
