Contribute to our environmental future at third local Sustainability Forum
28 October 2024
Join us on 18 November at this free event where members of the community across all sectors will explore solutions to the big challenges facing our borough.
Whether you’re a sustainability champion from the business, education, public, faith or community sectors, or a resident who’s passionate about climate action, Richmond’s Sustainability Forum is your chance to hear from local leaders in sustainability. You can also meet others who are passionate about sustainable change, and influence our plans for the next five years.
- Date: Monday 18 November 2024
- Time: 6 to 7.30pm
- Location: Patch Twickenham, 42 York Street, Twickenham, TW1 3BW
We’ll be spotlighting progress on our new Climate Strategy for 2025 to 30 and ways that you can continue to help shape our ambitious plans and goals. Attendees will also hear about our developing Air Quality Action Plan. You’ll have the opportunity to join rich discussions about how we can build on these efforts and tackle systemic local challenges as a community.
We encourage attendees to travel sustainably to the event. Patch is easily accessible by local bus routes and is a five minute walk from Twickenham Station.
If you’re unable to attend the forum or indeed have additional thoughts and ideas you’d like to contribute about local climate change and action, we encourage you to visit our new interactive hub and complete our survey. It is open until 31 December.
This user-friendly one-stop-shop features the latest project updates, news, upcoming events, a complete project timeline, and the opportunity to see feedback from others in the community in real time. You can also access information about other key local climate projects and sign up for direct email notifications about our new strategy’s progress.
If you need to request a paper copy of the survey or any other format, contact climatechange@richmond.gov.uk, or call 020 8891 1411 and quote 'Richmond Climate Strategy Survey'.
