Celebrate the spirit of Diwali at Marble Hill

On Saturday 18 October, join our Diwali celebration at Marble Hill, with nature-themed arts and crafts and live performances.
This joyful, community-led event invites residents of all ages and backgrounds across the borough to come together and connect with nature while celebrating cultural heritage.
This free event is held in partnership with performing arts company Nutkhut and heritage charity English Heritage.
Join Marble Hill Festival
Come along and craft traditional Diwali lanterns using sustainable materials such as recycled paper and natural fibres.
Celebrate the festival of light while embracing creativity, reuse and a closer connection with nature. These hands-on sessions provide a meaningful way to explore heritage, share stories and build community across generations.
Plus, learn the energetic moves of Bollywood and Bhangra dance and enjoy an early evening parade with puppets and drummers.
