Caring for carers
16 April 2021
Three in five of us will become unpaid carers at some point in our lives – we will look after a loved one who due to illness, disability, a mental health problem, or an addiction, cannot cope without our support.
Sara Challice joins Talk Richmond to talk about how she cared for her husband Neal for 13 years after he was diagnosed with a brain tumour. Sara fell ill whilst caring for Neal and wrote the book Who Cares, which empowers other carers to care for themselves whilst looking after a loved one.
