Carers week 2023

Carers Week 2023 takes place from 5 to 11 June, and organisations across the borough are hosting a variety of activities, workshops and events to provide carers with information, support and opportunities for respite.

This year's theme is ‘Recognising and supporting carers in the community’, and the aim is to raise awareness of caring, highlight the challenges unpaid carers face and recognise the contributions they make to families and communities.

Richmond Borough Mind carers summer social

This event is free to anyone who is registered with Carers in Mind. Additional friends are welcome at a cost of £10 per person.

Crossroads Care carers open day

Join Crossroads Care for some food and hot drinks. Staff will be available to discuss the services provided by the charity.

Integrated Neurological Services (INS) carers open afternoon

INS will be welcoming current and new carers to find out about the services they offer. Staff members will give short talks, and food and refreshments will be provided. To sign up, email zrasoul@ins.org.uk.
