Industrial processes
Some local businesses operate processes which require controlling to protect the environment, the health of local residents and protect them from nuisance.
Businesses must apply for a permit to carry out certain polluting processes. Examples of such processes are:
- Car sprayers
- Petrol stations
- Waste oil burners
- Crematoria
- Rubber processes
- Printers
- Coating processes
- Metal processes
- AggregatesÂ
We examine these processes and control the amount of substances, materials and methods of use by way of 'Permits' on an annual basis.
If you think you may need to be authorised or wish to discuss any of the above please contact Consumer Protection on 020 8545 3025.
