Appointments
We only hold face-to-face appointments if we are unable to solve your query over the phone or by email. Find out more about appointments at our Customer Centre.
Provide Council Tax documents
You may need to provide documents to support your Council Tax account.
You can do this by dropping off documents or booking a scanning appointment.
Drop off documents
You do not need an appointment to drop off documents for Council Tax.
You can drop off documents at the Civic Centre reception during working hours.
Put your document in a clearly labelled envelope with your name, address, and the relevant department.
The reception is open Monday to Friday, 9am to 4.30pm
To drop off documents outside of these hours, please use the post box at the main entrance.
We do not provide receipts for documents, but all documents are logged and tracked when received.
Book a scanning appointment
If you need your documents scanned, you must book an appointment.
Scanning appointments are available on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Call 020 8891 1411 to book.
Complaints
If you haven’t been able to find the answer to your query, or have a suggestion or compliment about our service, please get in touch.
If you’re unhappy with our service, you should first call or write to us to discuss the problem. If you are not happy after this, please refer to the complaints procedure.
If you are still not satisfied you should contact your local councillor.
Some issues are not covered by our complaints procedure because there is a separate independent appeals process run by the Valuation Tribunal Service.
