The Summer Reading Challenge takes place every year during the summer holidays. You can choose any library book you like to complete the challenge!
The online challenge runs from Friday 5 June to Saturday 12 of September 2020.
The Summer Reading Challenge 2020 is called Silly Squad.
Silly Squad is a celebration of fun and happiness created by The Reading Agency and features artwork from award-winning children’s author and illustrator Laura Ellen Anderson.
Anyone between the ages of 4 and 11 can take part online by visiting the Summer Reading Challenge website and signing up to the Silly Squad safe digital platform and create their own personal profile, set their reading goal, keep a record of their reading achievements, and see book recommendations. There are activities to download and by continuing to read toward their target they can collect online rewards and codes to unlock activities.
The challenge runs from Friday 5 June to Saturday 12 of September 2020 and is free to join.
