Using the Richmond Card for libraries
The Richmond Card gives you access to our library services so you can borrow books, DVDs and use the digital library. You can also use the card at any library within the SELMS Consortium.
New members
You can apply online for a Richmond Card to use our library services. You can also apply at any of our local libraries or pick up a form at the Civic Centre in Twickenham.
Before you make an application you should read our library service terms and conditions(pdf, 70KB).
Library PIN
You can renew and reserve items and access other online services using your Library ID and PIN.
You will find your Library ID on the back of your Richmond Card beginning with 00***. Your Library PIN is a four-digit number you create when applying for a Richmond Card.
If you do not know your PIN, you can request a new PIN online.
Renew subscription
Your library services subscription lasts for two years from either the date your card was first issued, or the date of your last renewal. If you try to use an online service after this period, you may get an expiry message.
To renew your subscription, you can email libraries@richmond.gov.uk or visit your local library.
