Provide services to the Council
Find out how your voluntary or community organisation can become a service provider through our commissioning and procurement processes.
The voluntary sector has a vital role in successful commissioning, and can be involved at many different stages of the commissioning process.
It is important to note that commissioning is not just about buying services. It also involves understanding the needs of local people, particularly those who are marginalised. Voluntary organisations help give these people a voice, enabling the Council to design services that genuinely help improve people’s lives.
When specific opportunities for tender are identified, we advertise them and encourage as wide a range of bids as possible.
Specific contract guidance relating to procurement may also be useful if you plan to make a bid.
