Review of polling districts and polling places
We regularly assess our polling stations for suitability and accessibility, and survey large numbers of electors at every election. Their average satisfaction with their polling station venue has been 98-99% since 2001.
Review 2024
We are conducting a review of the polling districts, polling places and polling stations that fall within the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames.

The (Acting) Returning Officer proposals were published, and comments and submissions were invited up to Friday 15 November 2024.

However due to the unexpected Parliamentary Election on 12 December, the report was deferred and was adopted following the full Council meeting.
A further review will take place following the ward boundary review, and a new polling scheme will be adopted taking into consideration any changes made to the new ward boundaries which will take effect from the Richmond upon Thames Council elections in 2022.
