Transport schemes

We have a number of transport schemes in the borough to help control traffic and reduce congestion in busy areas. 

Current schemes

These schemes are currently in operation:  

• Burtons Road traffic reduction scheme 
• Hammersmith Bridge 
• Hill View Road traffic restriction
• North Worple Way traffic reduction scheme
• Rivermeads traffic reduction scheme
• Strawberry Vale flood resilience scheme 
• Teddington Lock footbridges improvement works 
• TfL A316 roadworks at Manor Circus 

Exemptions

You can apply for an exemption for the Burtons Road, Hill View Road, North Worple Way and Rivermeads schemes. Exemptions are provided for those who meet the eligibility criteria, such as local residents and businesses within the restricted zone, carers and healthcare professionals. Vehicles without an exemption, such as visitors or deliveries, can access all properties at all times without being required to cross the camera control point.

CPZ parking permits and School Streets exemptions do not cover transport schemes. You will need to apply separately in addition to any permits or other exemptions you have.
