We are committed to making Richmond a fairer, safer, accessible, equitable and more inclusive borough. We produce an Annual Equalities Report which provides an overview of our work on equalities in the past year.

Disability - including sensory disabilities and neurodiversity

Supporting deaf residents

Check our links about deaf services.

British Sign Language (BSL) users can contact us through an online professional BSL interpreter from their own device.

Supporting accessibility

We have partnered with AccessAble to create access guides for residents and visitors in Richmond who have a disability. The online access guides provide accessibility information on over 200 local places to help maximise independence and choice for people with disabilities

You should also view our Friendly Parks for All page to find out how we work to improve the impact, reach and quality of access to parks and open spaces in the borough to residents who experience barriers to access.

LGBTQIA+

We have held many events to celebrate the LGBTQIA+ community.

Race

Refugees

Support is in place for refugees settling in Richmond.

Religion

We work hard to be an inclusive borough for different faiths.
